PRESS RELEASE
I am pleased to report on behalf of the League Committee that High on Bikes .com will be sponsoring the League in 2011 which has been extended to 20 continuous weeks of Wednesday night racing commencing on the 6th April 2011.
The time of start is 6:30 pm for all youth categories races and the Regional A event starts at
7:15 pm for the following registered League competitors:
BCF 2nd licence male category for Senior and Junior riders
BCF 3rd licence male category for Senior and Junior riders
BCF 4th licence male category for Senior and Junior riders
And Junior Ladies and Women of all BCF licence categories.
All events are “entry on the line” but riders must be registered to the League prior to racing and to avoid lengthy delays in the first couple of weeks in April please submit Club and Rider registrations to the League Treasurer (details are shown on the bottom of the forms) as soon as possible.
The fees for 2011 are already shown on the Merseyside Cycling Development Group website under “Quick Page Links” and then click onto “Litherland forms.”

Do remember it is cheaper for riders to register if; their club is registered to the League. Don’t forget to register early so that there is not too many hold ups on the first couple of nights of racing when there is light restrictions at that time of the year.
The popular weekly Bert Owens Handicap Series for youth riders which is free for those that have ridden in the youth events that evening will not commence for the 2011 season until the 4th May 2011.
